THE CENTRAL PARK DISTRICT
The Central Park will be located in the very centre of the city, lined on all sides by the residential homes and different districts. This 460,000 square metre area will provide the perfect meeting place for friends and families, a place to find inspiration, or simply to breathe fresh air and get some exercise. The park will feature natural wadis, surrounded by plants and vegetation to create a true escape from the city.
Sporting events, music, art, culture and wellness will all be embraced and encouraged in this open-aired space. The park will be split into three zones; entertainment, family and sport. Each catering to different experiences that can be shared as a community.
Combining physical activities with leisure experiences, the Sports Zone will become a sought-after adventure attraction, offering a whole host of thrill-seeking experiences to be enjoyed
To entertain every member of the family, there will be plenty of activities to enjoy, including an outdoor cinema, hands-on creative activities, multisensory experiences in the garden, arts and craft displays, and a sculpture park.
A multitude of exhibits, shows, theatrical performances and seasonal concerts will take place in the Entertainment Zone, catering to every taste. The zone will inhabit the centre of performing arts, a night light show, live cultural performances, picnic areas, water fountain show and the lively promenade.
In one of the soon-to-be busiest areas in Al Widyan there will be a host of delectable food and beverage options available. Including signature restaurants, a gourmet boulevard of food stalls, health-conscious cafés, casual dining experiences and traditional coffee shops.
